One of the most requested oversized screen printing job that we get asked to do is a classic Bandana Print. Bandanas are offered in a wide range of sizes, materials and shapes. Always a classic, the Bandana Print offers clubs, groups, companies and other organizations a low cost, yet highly personalized option for spirit gear.
Bandanas are offered in the following sizes: 14″ x 14″ (Hankie) 18″ x 18″ (Child) 22″ x 22″ (Standard) and 27″ x 27″ (Oversized) we also offer triangle bandanas sized at 14″ x 20″ x 14″ (Hankie) 18″ x 25″ 18″ (Child) 22″ x 30″ x 22″ (Standard) and 27″ x 38″ x 27″ (Oversized)
Our primary offering for Bandana Print is for square or triangle bandanas that are a solid color, patterned and classic paisley bandanas are also available. Although, we don’t recommending using either for a Bandana Print project because your design will get lost in the patterns.
Bandana Print
There are two methods that are used for bandana printing. Method number one is traditional screen printing. Using this method of print, we will take your custom artwork, separate the colors and print your bandana on one side. For this method of printing, we offer up to 4 colors on one side. Our standard print areas exceed the largest bandana which means that we can offer you “full bleed” aka “edge to edge” printing on our largest bandanas.
The second method of printing used for bandana print projects is sublimation. With sublimation, only polyester bandanas can be used. These banadanas start out white and we “dye” your design directly into the fabric. Unlike screen printed bandanas where you will be able to feel the design after it has been printed, sublimation fuses your design into the fibers and there is no feel to it. With sublimation bandana printing you have the option for unlimited colors and photo quality results. Meaning, we can print photos on the bandanas. With sublimation printing, you also have the option of edge to edge or full bleed printing.
