Large Format Silk Screen Printing

The large format silk screen printing process is pretty simple. To start you would send your artwork to be burned into a screen. This is done by covering a screen in light sensitive emulsion which reacts to UV lights. Then the stencil of your design is places on the screen and UV light is placed on the screen to burn the design in to the screen. The next step is to wash off the emulsion so the inks will go through the screen where the stencil was burned. Then your screen will get taken to the printing press where a fill blade or a squeegee is used to pass the ink threw the screen onto your shirts creating your design. Then your shirts are sent threw a dryer and then they are complete.
