There are many different types of printing you can do with large format silk screening. It truly is amazing what can be accomplished with large format silk screening. Large Format Silk Screening

With oversized screen printing you can also screen print all over a t-shirt, that is where you can print from seem to seem and even on the sleeves. Large format silk screening involves a very large screen with your image burned into it. It also requires a very large pallet to do the jumbo silk screening on. Then you will also need what you want to get printed like a t-shirt, or a blanket, or even sweatpants. Depending on how large you are looking to do your all over shirt printing it may take 2 people to silk screen print your large format silk screening. Another form of large format silk screening is billboard crew printing across the shoulders.

Typically when printing all over a T-Shirt standard plastisol inks are not used.  Instead, waterbased discharge and/or acrylic inks are used instead.  The benefit of discharge screen printing is that the “hand” is much lighter.  In screen printing the term “hand” is used to describe if you can feel the design being printed.  A heavy hand means that the ink is very thick, a light hand means that it is hard to notice.  With discharge screen printing the hand is very light.  When screen printing multiple colors on a large design, discharge screen printing is the most desired process.
