Oversize Screen Printing

Oversize Screen Printing

When you are contemplating an oversized screen printing project it’s important to note that most oversize screen printing jobs are done with the cut and sew process. This doesn’t mean that it’s not possible to do an oversized print on an existing shirt, it just means that there are some limitations.

A good number of new customers that come to us with oversized screen printing projects, request things that can only be done with a cut and sew. Cust and sew projects involve high minimum orders, are done overseas and are done with polyester garments.

Screen printing all over the surface area of a t-shirt is not an issue.  We can screen print over seams, and on the front and back of the shirt. What is difficult is seamless wrap arounds and tight registration on multiple colors. If you are considering a large format screen printing project, the best approach is to contact us via phone, email us the artwork and have us review your project.

It’s rare that we would tell you that we can’t do your project, it’s common that we would recommend making a few small tweaks to better suit an all over screen print that works on an existing garment.

At this time, we only offer oversized screen printing on t-shirts.

Oversized screen printing projects on existing t-shirts simply requires the proper design and the willingness to compromise.  Most retail pieces are cut and sew and made in large batches overseas, for small run orders that mimic the concept of all over design can be accomplished but with modifications.
