Well, let me tell you about water based and discharge screen printing on T-shirts.  Water based and discharge screen printing is the same basic process as traditional printing, but it uses water based inks instead of plastisol.  Discharge ink is simply a water based ink that contains a discharge agent which can remove the existing color from a fabric.  Since water based inks contain a solvent, typically including water, they are able to deposit the color deeper into the fabric.  So instead of stiffly sitting on the top as plastisol ink does, the print is more flexible and softer to the touch.  The downside is that water based inks are susceptible to drying out so they must be used quickly and wholly to avoid waste.  If you have customers who are nagging for softer prints, then water based and discharge screen printing on T-shirts can be just what you have been looking for.
