Producing a Logo Umbrellas seems straight forward and simple, but there are nuances that you will want to consider before beginning your project.

So, what’s involved with the production of a Logo Umbrella order? First, there is a minimum run of 50 umbrellas. In order for each umbrella to be cost effective, it doesn’t make sense for most customers to do less than 50, and that’s where we’ve set the minimum run.

Second, most screen printing companies can’t print on umbrellas. The reasons are that umbrellas are made from nylon, and nylon screen printing requires special techniques and inks as well as drying technique.

The majority of the Logo Umbrella print area is in-between “the spokes” and can range from 12” to 20” depending on how large the umbrella is. Adding a large sized print area to the fact that it’s made from nylon adds complexity to the job.

There are some reasonable limitations when printing a Logo Umbrella. Those include a maximum of 2 print locations, i.e. two panels, and no more than 2 colors per print location. When printing on nylon, registration is difficult due to nylon shrinking during the curing process.
